Dakota (Senior)

I really enjoy taking Senior pictures.
I get to find out about each person, and get to know them, and what they do in their everyday life. Dakota was really quiet, didn't seem like he wanted to take pictures at all, I felt like he had a slight attitude.
Then I started asking him questions, tried to get him to open up, and once I had done that, I couldn't get him to be quiet. I found out he loved the outdoors, riding on his four wheeler, hunting, being in nature. He also had a girlfriend that he gushed on about. When it came to taking pictures, he ended up loving it, and didn't want to stop!
Senior pictures should reflect the person, so what he enjoyed doing, I got to capture, and all the pictures turned out great, you know why? Cause he was himself, having fun!
Dakota, you were definitely a favorite of mine-
I wish you the best this Senior Year!

Meet Jake (Portfolio Session)

This is Jake,
he is one good looking man,
but it's not his looks that make him good looking; it's his character, his sense of humor, his way of thinking, and the risks he's willing to take.
Jake called me awhile back, and said he was walking in Charleston, SC, and someone approached him, and asked if they could take his picture. Turns out they were working for a model agency, and they really liked him. The problem was, Jake never modeled, nor had a portfolio. He didn't have a clue, he never even thought about it, but he was willing to take the risk. That's where I came in. I didn't want to shoot him in a studio, I wanted it to be natural. To me, Jake is perfect for outdoors, whether it's advertising vehicles, commercial, or working for L.L. Bean, Brooks Brothers, Sperry, Lands End, etc.
It was a hard shoot, but he gave it his all, and in the end it turned out great.
He is a really good guy, and I wish him the best of luck with his future career!

Oh ps. ladies this is for you...

Nick & Hope (Couples Session)

This is my handsome brother, Nick and his beautiful girlfriend, Hope.
This session was taken on a farm near Beaufort, SC., right next to the river where you could smell the salt air among the Corn Fields, and in the distance you could see love birds walking through old barns, kissing under the Pecan Trees, riding on John Deer Tractors, and just having a good ol' time in the sun.
Young love is the best love there is, nothing seems to matter in the world other then your special someone.
 That's a truly great feeling.
I really enjoyed these two, I'll have to admit, they are picture perfect.
Love ya'll

Kristen & Michael (Married)

I have known Kristen since my teens, we were always known as the "Kristen's", we were best of friends. She is such a sweet, fun, adventurous, caring person, and I always knew she'd make such an amazing bride one day, and even more, an amazing wife.
When I was asked to be a second shooter for her wedding, I was so happy. She will always be a close friend to me, and I was so thankful to be there, taking pictures of her special day.
Michael, was at first quiet, I didn't know what to think of him, all I knew was she left her life in South Carolina to be with him in Ohio. During the ceremony, he shared his vows, and I then knew why she picked him. He, too, was sweet, and I know he cares about her, and would do anything under the sun for her. They both fit, they are caring, they are fun, and they get it each other.
I wish them the best of luck, and many years of a happy marriage!
And ps. ya'll remember, "Rain is a good thang" .

Chelsea & Aaron (Soon to be parents)

This is Chelsea and Aaron, soon to be parents.
It was a very cold day in Hunlock, PA, but these two love birds made it through the shoot, with nothing but smiles on there face.
They are expecting a little boy, named Levi, in the next week or two, and they couldn't be happier!
I wish them the best of luck to their first child!
